Chilling Out

Just had a great night with some of the youth group. Following on from Spring Harvest, I had arranged a get together to see how everyone was getting on and what impact it had. There was only a few of us but we had a good chat about the joys of Spring Harvest. However, we also concentrated on how God wants to be in a relationship with us and use us the rest of the year as well. It is about our whole life...

We prayed together and it was incredibly powerful. It was just cool to be together in God's presence and be ourselves. I walked home with some of the group afterwards and that was good as well. It was raining slightly but it felt really fresh and summer felt just around the corner.

It was an evening where nothing extraordinary happened but it was still pretty special. As I have been fairly worn out recently, it was just the kind of refreshment I needed.

I think it's cool that adults do blogs and stuff. I reckon adults and young people think more similarly than we realise, and reading blogs like this make me realise how everybody has their own story.

It's amazing really if you think about it, that every single person in existence has their own life that's completely different to even those closest to them, and we'll never know what it's like to actually be somebody else. God's cool. Diversity is amazing.

Don't ever get old mentally btw. Where's the fun in that?
